2023: Adesope warns Pan Yoruba groups ahead election

Laide Gold

In view of what is happening in the politics arena within the country, The President of Oodua People's Congress Reformed, Chief Dare Adesope has call the attention of  the Yoruba elder state man, Pa Ayo Adebanjo and all relevant groups to shield swords in order to support the presidential flag bearer of the ruling party, (APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as what may likely happen after the election may not be too good to hear if they are not united

Adesope while drawing a way out to clear the ripples said, he had earlier advise the former governor of Lagos State, that he should not relax but work without stalling untill he  achieve his aim, this he said, Tinubu should hold strong to and not take with levity but with utmost importance.

According to him, the election is going to be in favour of Tinubu going by his achievement in Lagos State, the number of resourceful people he has produced, the political party he founded and sustained. Judging by action of  some yoruba groups, ' I do not want Asiwaju to see anybody or group as  his enemy but rather bring them together for common goal, specifically, my  group members will always show their loyalty to support his candidacy, as a matter of fact the only yoruba security operative drumming support without fear'.

Speaking further, Adesope draw the attention of Pa Ayo Adebanjo to his statement drumming support for Labour Party presidential flag bearer, Peter Obi, which he said did  not go down well with large percentage of Yoruba descendants because  according to Yoruba adage, the habit of stalling before making statement dwells in the bowel of elders.

Tinubu attaining presidency is achievable if we all team up together to support our brother as other tribe are teaming up to support theirs going by the adage that ' If we have a child with robust waist, we can not neglect the child to decorate other person's child'. We should however think of the unborn generation that will read about our contribution towards the success of producing another Yoruba president in the history of our dear nation.

Conclusively, the OPC boss call on all self determined and groups in the southwest to come together and speak with one voice, ' It is a must for all of us to support  Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and pull a weighty vote in the 2023 up coming election. We should go all out to our people to protect, mobilize, pull votes for him and also see to his swearing in.
OPC,Reformed watchword is to think Yoruba first and shall not relent in achieving what we stand for so we are officially declaring our support for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu who will be Nigeria 15th president come 2023 by the grace of  God.
