Oodua People's Congress (reformed) has appealed to flag bearers and presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar and Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi not to run away but stay in the country to join hands with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to build the country.
According to the National President of the group, Chief Oludare Adesope in the atmospher of celebrating President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s electoral victory at the Supreme Court in Abuja on Thursday said the two leaders should stay back and contribute resourcefully to the progress of Nigeria.
The advice came on the heels of reports that Atiku may be jetting out of the country following his defeat again at the apex court on Thursday.
Adesope, while addressing the jubilant Nigerians in his Lagos office, immediately after the Supreme Court pronouncemet, advises the duo to accept the outcome of their appeal and contribute meaningfully to the development of the country.
The OPC boss however, sends warm wishes to the president but also advise him to be more commited to the cause of making Nigeria great again ' I want to advise president Bola Tinubu to take security seriously, kidnapping,robbery,fulani invasion,pipeline vandalisation etc can be prevented. I have said it often times that we at OPC(Reformed) have the antidote to the ailment called crime, and we are ever ready to work with any government in achieving this aim. Also, provide jobs for the youth so that they can get busy and be contribute their own quota to the development of our country positively rather than engaging in cyber crime
