Motunrayo: I belong to every tribe
— Says Unity, inclusion must define leadership
Honourable Ola Olusola Motunrayo has declared her commitment to an inclusive leadership that embraces Nigerians from all ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
Olusola, a journalist and flag bearer of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for Alimosho Federal Constituency, while speaking on her philosophy of leadership and relationship with the people, said she does not discriminate on the basis of tribe, religion or social background.
“I align with every tribe,” she declared, stressing that Nigeria’s diversity should be regarded as a strength and not a source of division.
She maintained that effective leadership must be people-oriented and inclusive, with every constituent given a sense of belonging and equal opportunity to contribute to community development.
According to her, building a united society requires mutual respect, understanding and cooperation among people of different backgrounds.
Motunrayo added that her commitment is to work with the people and support initiatives that promote development, peaceful coexistence and improved quality of life.
She urged Nigerians to look beyond ethnic or religion differences and focus on issues that unite them, saying collective efforts remain essential to building a stronger and more prosperous society.
