Lagos was filled with colour, culture and celebration as His Royal Majesty, Oba Adeshoga Williams Adeyoola, Tomia 1. The Olorile of Orile Alagbado,in Lagos marked the anniversary of his coronation amid pomp and fanfare, drawing dignitaries, traditional rulers, community leaders and residents from far and near.
The one week eventful celebration, which took place at the royal palace of Orile Alagbado and adjoining venues, showcased the rich cultural heritage of the kingdom, featuring traditional music, dances, and age-long rites that reaffirm the monarch’s commitment to the customs and values of his people.
Speaking during the event, Oba Adeshoga expressed profound gratitude to God and the people of his domain for their unwavering support since his ascension to the throne. He described the past year as one of purposeful leadership, peace building and renewed dedication to community development.
