A pro-democracy group, Signature Tinubu Initiative' has appealed to flag bearers and presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar and Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi not to run away but stay in the country to join hands with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to build the country.
The President of the group, Prince Adedeji Hassan made this known to the press in the atmospher of celebrating President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s electoral victory at the Supreme Court in Abuja on Thursday where Hassan said the two leaders should stay back in the country and contribute resourcefully to the progress of Nigeria.
The advice came on the heels of reports that Atiku may be jetting out of the country following his defeat again at the apex court on Thursday.
Hassan while addressing the jubilant executives members of the group in their Alagbado area in Lagos State, immediately after the Supreme Court pronouncement advises the duo to accept the outcome of their appeal and contribute meaningfully to the development of the country.
However, the president while jubilating with members also advise them to be more commited to their cause and contribute positively to the progress of the country.
