It was an evening full of joy, fun and commendation yesterday 29th October, 2023 as astute politician and business mogul, Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo was decorated as the life patron of Freelance Independent Broadcasters Association of Nigeria FIBAN, Lagos state chapter.
The epoch making event that has in attendance who is who is broadcasting world held
to inaugurate new executive of the association, decoration of life patron, celebration of late Gbenga Adeboye and giving award to some eminent personalities in the country.
However, Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi was the only personality honoured as the life patron of the association, the CEO of Eagle media and Bullion Go Neat Global Limited also went home with special recognition award for his immense contribution to the society and his humanitarian gesture to the country at large.
Oguntoyinbo, who received the honour with loudest ovation thanks FIBAN for the great honour given to him and promised to use everything as his capacity to move the association forward.
While speaking to the media at the event, Oguntoyinbo, said FIBAN should try as much as possible to get rid of the fake broadcasters among them, he also enjoined them to use their position and knowledge to promote the country for the betterment of all.
The philanthropist and man of many parts, also told the government to make the profession a viable one by making the broadcasting equipment affordable for the broadcasters
Yes, we need to let our government know that for the broadcasters to be viable and responsible, they need gadget to work and with what the dollar is talking about now, to get those gadget, it cost lot of money'.
While answering question about his next move politically, the Ogun state gubernatorial candidate in the last election said, I want to be the next president, we must make sure we free this country from the present low ebb condition. He noted.
