In line with the aged long custom and traditions of the ancient Ibese kingdom, the 14th Aboro of Ibese, His Royal Majesty, Oba Mulero Oluseyi Rotimi, Ilufemiloba Oloko III in the midst of traditional Chiefs and mammoth Sons and Daughters of Ibese, got crowned with the ancient crown of the land.

The ancient crown known to have been passed from generation to generation for centuries has been passed to Oba Mulero Oluseyi Rotimi who was recently enthroned by the State Government under the led-administration of His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR, on the 28th of July, 2022. At the official coronation the State Governor was ably  represented by Mr Kolawole Fagbohun, the Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs and other prominent Political and Traditional figures across and beyond the State.

Once again, the good people of the kingdom trooped out in mass filled with joy, laughter and happiness to welcome their long decades of awaited hopes and expectations for the progress, development and liberation of the Kingdom being an ancient kingdom and all these is ascertained in the installation of the new vibrant, handsome, resourceful and humanitarian King.

After the conclusion of the traditional rights and customs of the coronation, Kabiesi prayed for the prosperity, development, progress and success of the land and people of the  kingdom. It was another memorable moment in the history of the kingdom as all sons and daughters of the kingdom joyously sang and danced in appreciation to the Almighty God and ancestors of the land.

Hence, on behalf of the entire indigenous sons, daughters, old and young people of Ibese kingdom, we again appreciate the State Government under the led administration of His Excellency, Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun - MFR for the timely installation of the custodian of our culture and traditions, and we must also appreciate all the traditional Chiefs of our beloved ancient kingdom.

Indeed it is a new beginning in Ibese Land, Irį»run de!
