Yoruba Liberation Movement president, Prince Bisi Ogunrinde also known as Bisi Omo Olubadan recently analysis how some of Yoruba citizens' presidential declaration almost caused the entire Yorubaland to become a house of fire, owing to lack of "individual decorum" within the Yoruba wing of the ruling party which he tags as APC-YORUBA.
In his speech, ‘we are glad that it is no longer a yardstick or reason for the APC Nigeria to deny our homeland the party's ticket having embraced unity of purpose for the betterment of our Nation's greatness.
He however stated, it is very important to state unequivocally that, the many aspirants within the APC-YORUBA which includes, Asiwaju Tinubu, Professor Osinbajo, Governor Fayemi, Former Governor Ibikunle Amosun, Pastor Tunde Bakare who is not a full blooded Yoruba man, must as a matter of urgency agree with the leadership position of Asiwaju Tinubu, in order for us as nation not to fail in securing the party's ticket because as it stands, the Primaries which would usher in the presidential candidate will be conducted on the basis of "Popular Sovereignty" of each candidate and vote.
Explaining further, he said. If the votes of the 411 delegates are in shambles, the consequence may make Yoruba citizens' vote to be divided among the above mentioned 5 aspirants which will not send any good signal to the house of opposing elements who are trying hard not to see Yoruba clinch the ticket. It is therefore imperative
In conclusion in said, no individual among the aspirants is irrelevant nor weak to take the leadership position, however it is crucial for all to see beyond the shadow of egoistic lifestyle in order to scale through to the final match.
