“I AM NOT COMING TO MAKE EMPTY PROMISES; I AM COMING TO REPRESENT, LISTEN AND DELIVER.”

As I seek the mandate of the good people of Alimosho Federal Constituency to represent them at the National Assembly, my commitment is clear: representation must be about the people, their needs and measurable results.

Alimosho is a vibrant and rapidly growing constituency, blessed with hardworking youths, women, entrepreneurs, professionals, artisans and families. But with growth comes challenges that require purposeful legislative attention.

If given the opportunity to serve, I will make the following areas my priorities:

1. QUALITY EDUCATION FOR OUR CHILDREN

I will advocate for improved access to quality education, better learning facilities and programmes that will give our young people the knowledge and skills required to compete in today's economy.

I will also support initiatives that address the challenge of children who are out of school and promote digital and vocational learning opportunities.

2. YOUTH EMPOWERMENT AND JOB CREATION

Our youths must not be left behind.

I will pursue programmes that connect young people with skills acquisition, entrepreneurship opportunities, digital employment, vocational training and relevant federal intervention programmes.

My goal is to help move our youths from job seekers to job creators and productive members of society.

3. SUPPORT FOR TRADERS, ARTISANS AND SMALL BUSINESSES

Alimosho is home to thousands of hardworking traders, artisans and small-business owners.

I will advocate for greater access to government-backed funding, business training, market opportunities and other interventions that can help small businesses grow.

4. BETTER HEALTHCARE

Healthcare must be accessible to ordinary residents.

I will use my position to advocate for stronger federal intervention in healthcare, particularly primary healthcare, maternal and child health, preventive healthcare and programmes that can bring essential services closer to our communities.

5. INFRASTRUCTURE AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

I will push for federal intervention in areas where Alimosho requires greater attention, including roads, drainage, public facilities, environmental management and other infrastructure needs.

My approach will be to identify genuine community needs and pursue appropriate interventions through the legislative process and relevant government agencies.

6. WOMEN'S ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT

Women are central to the economic strength of Alimosho.

I will advocate for programmes that support women entrepreneurs, market women, artisans, widows and young women through skills development, access to opportunities and economic empowerment initiatives.

7. ACCESSIBLE AND ACCOUNTABLE REPRESENTATION

My constituency office will not be a place people see only during elections.

I will promote regular engagement with residents, community leaders, youth groups, women, professionals and other stakeholders so that their concerns can reach the National Assembly.

I believe constituents have the right to know what their representative is doing on their behalf.

8. LEGISLATION THAT SERVES THE PEOPLE

Representation in the House of Representatives is not simply about distributing materials. It is also about making laws, scrutinising government policies, representing constituents' interests and advocating for development.

I will therefore focus on legislation and policy interventions that respond to the realities of Alimosho.

MY PROMISE TO ALIMOSHO

I am coming with a simple philosophy:

Listen to the people.

Speak for the people.

Work for the people.

Account to the people.

I am not presenting myself as someone who can solve every problem overnight. But I am presenting myself as a representative who will listen, engage, advocate and work relentlessly to attract opportunities and development to Alimosho.

Alimosho deserves representation that is accessible, people-centred and accountable.

I am ready to serve.
