A renowned culture practitioner, Oluomotayo Bimbo set to release a historic book dated back to about 500 years titled: “WELCOMING THE PAST TO THE FUTURE." As a part of the revolution to revive black history and return them to their roots.
Oluomotayo, one of Nigeria’s most accomplished historians, is set to present the world with a book detailing the experiences and challenges of African pride and to right many wrongs posing a future threat to the generation yet unborn.
According to the Akure born table shaker, the book, “Welcoming the Past to the Future”, tells the story of 500 years of history which when unveiled will unfold so many secrets and will also bring liberation to the African race.
The book, when out will worth diamond which will make it worth reading as it is full of captivating true stories, it is worthy of admittance to the growing corpus of sublime literature and will definitely enrich the perspectives culture practitioners, scholars, community experts and anyone interested in the struggle for freedom from long aged deceits.
In his own words "I have promise to continue to open the eyes of the youth and will keep encouraging them to search deep and look inward to understand their identity, we shall team up together to release our people from captivity of foreign religion, we should change our mindsets so that the sacrifice of our ancestors shall not be in vain’’
The author who is from a christian background attended Saint Patrick R C M Oke Aro in Akure later proceed to Akure Muslim secondary school in 1992 and after completion of secondary school education in 1998,he got admitted to Osun State polytechnic, Iree where he bagged Ordinary National Diploma and Higher National Diploma respectively.
