Chief Fakunle Oyesanya and wife set for chieftaincy title.



Getting decorated with chieftaincy titles and other honours are not new to Chief Fakunle Oyesanya who has been receiving honors alongside his beautiful wife Chief Mrs Olori Ajetunmobi Oyesanya for the past two decades.

On Sunday, July 16, 2023, Ojokoro community in Lagos Nigeria will usher in personalities from all quaters as Akoda Awo of Ibeshe kingdom would be honoured as ‘The Eletu of Ojokoro kingdom’ and wife as ‘The Yeye Tayese of Ojokoro kingdom’ by the paramount ruler of Ifako-Ijaye, Olojokoro Kingdom, Oba Taiwo Rilwan Oluwalambe, the Olojokoro of Ojokoro kingdom in the presence of some other traditional rulers, high ranked chiefs, public figures, Adaci Nigeria members  and press men.

The chieftaincy ceremony which is set to take place at Ojokoro palace alagbado area in Lagos State will make a new history where the amiable king shall bestow titles to resourceful people within Lagos and Nigeria at large in commemoration of his 20th Coronation Anniversary.

According to Adaci Nigeria President, Chief Fakunle Oyesanya, the new title ‘The Eletu of Ojokoro kingdom' is another feather added to his cap. He commended the king  in his selection in giving titles to resourceful people within the society of which he and his wife have been considered worthy.

Speaking  further, Chief Oyesanya whose wife, Chief Mrs Olori Ajetunmobi  Oyesanya will also be crowned as ‘Yeye Tayese of Ojokoro kingdom said that chieftaincy is rooted  in Yoruba tradition and ways of life which linger from the time of our ancestors. 

He however appreciates the Ojokoro community for the unique choice and also promises his commitment to the development of humanity. "Because the titles are not just honorary but functional titles, it is our pleasure to work with the community to enhance development in Ojokoro land."
