It is no longer a news that some Osun traditional stools are already in jeopardy owing to how the former governor of Osun State, Isiaka Oyetola dabbles into the kingship traditional arrangement.
According to the people of the affected towns, the immediate past governor, only use his office to impose some people that are not worthy on the throne.
They further explained that, each town has its culture and tradition which they follow to choose a new king but the governor did not only neglect that but also go against the people's will.
The imposition which lead to chaos had claimed lives in town like Ikirun, Ikire and Igbajo but Oyetola was adamant.
However, the new governor on assumption to office has declared Oyetola process of chosing the kings as invalid as such order the police to take over the palace and the towns involved should maintain peace till further notice
